Check out Big Huge Labs. Great range of tools to use in school for using images. More suited potentially to Primary school (or maybe Middle) - but some cool tools.

At one of the ever-excellent PD sessions up at the ICT Learning Innovation Centre today doing a session on developing capacity in your team with ICTs. Won't under-estimate the challenge! Ill put some stuff together from what i learn up here so check back soon!

Johnny Lee, a HCI student from Carnegie Mellon university has put together an acclaimed video on how to create an interactive whiteboard using the Wii-mote. While they are reasonably expensive in Australia to play around with ($60+ from what i have seen), im lucky enough to have a Wii and im going to see if i can get this going in my class.

using technologies which haven't yet been invented
in order to solve problems we don't even know are problems yet.

This interesting presentation by Karl Fisch is called Shift Happens. Very confronting data, and also surfaces many questions of the role of teachers in the classroom.

Was sent this interesting link yesterday from a mailing list. It speaks about removing traditional PC labs from around a school, and bringing technology to be further integrated into the classroom.
