Andrew Morrison
This site collects the material I generate for formal teaching and learning. The first body of work here is AI in Healthcare, and more learning modules will follow as I build them. The focus throughout is human-centred design and responsible AI, taught in a way that a working professional can actually apply.
Teaching Roles
- Adjunct Associate Professor — Teaching AI in healthcare and enterprise AI topics at postgraduate level (Charles Darwin University), with a focus on human-centred design and responsible AI systems.
Background
My career spans Queensland and federal government digital transformation. I have a long-standing interest in open-source tooling, self-hosted infrastructure, and the practical craft of building things, which is the same instinct I bring to teaching.
I'm pursuing an Executive Master of Technology Management at UTS, with coursework spanning AI for enterprises, cybersecurity analytics, and technology leadership.
This site
The modules are the learning units, living pages that gather the content and resources for a topic. The notes are shorter reflections and write-ups that sit alongside them. It's built with Astro and hosted on GitHub Pages.
I teach in the open because the material gets better when you have to explain it clearly, and because good teaching and learning work is worth sharing.
